The Rosary Rally, a religious tradition passed down through generations of Bosconians. It is a way Bosconians live out their love and devotion to the Blessed Mother as St. John Bosco himself taught his boys.

This year, despite last-minute alterations of the event due to a sudden change in weather conditions, Bosconians once again paid homage to our Blessed Mother and culminated the Rosary Month through this year’s Rosary Rally.

Just as last year’s, a Dawn Rosary was held as a salute to a religious tradition passed down through almost five centuries of Christian faith in the country.

At 4am, Bosconians were to assemble at the quadrangle with the initial plan to start off with the praying of the rosary there, followed by a procession. However, due to a sudden downpour, they assembled directly at the Big Gym instead.

The event started off with a Eucharistic Adoration led by the BED Pastoral Animator, Rev. Fr. Keith J. Amodia, SDB. It was then followed by the Living Rosary led by the Auxilium Sodality and Youth Leaders from the Salesian Youth Movement.

Students from Grades 11 and 12, and members of the Auxilium Sodality portrayed roles relevant in each mystery.

An Institutional mass concluded that morning’s event and was also presided by Fr. Keith. The mass was attended by the Educative Pastoral Community, parents, alumni, and some guests.

The event concluded at 7AM, an hour early from the expected dismissal time. By then, the students left off to enjoy their Halloween weekend.
